Professor Charles Doarn is the Director of the University of Cincinnati's Armstrong Institute for Space, Technology, and Research (ASTRO) and Emeritus Professor at UC's College of Medicine. With over three decades of experience advising NASA in aerospace medicine and telemedicine, he has held academic positions at UC, Wright State University, and George Washington University. Prof. Doarn is Editor-in-Chief of Telemedicine and e-Health and a recognized global leader in digital health, having authored 9 books and over 475 publications. He is a Fellow of the ATA and the Aerospace Medical Association and has received multiple honors including NASA’s Exceptional Public Service Medal (2024) and the ATA Individual Leadership Award (2016).
