Research Interest

This research indicates that peanut shells can serve as an effective, inexpensive, and eco-friendly biosorbent for treating wastewater contaminated with heavy metals. Using such agricultural waste materials not only improves water quality but also reduces environmental waste. Further studies should test different particle sizes, operating conditions, and real wastewater samples to optimize the process.
