Biography

Dr. Murat Eyvaz is an Associate Professor in the Department of Environmental Engineering at Gebze Technical University (GTU), Türkiye. He received his B.Sc. degree in Environmental Engineering from Kocaeli University in 2004, followed by his M.Sc. (2006) and Ph.D. (2013) degrees from Gebze Institute of Technology. He also completed postdoctoral research at the National Research Center on Membrane Technologies at Istanbul Technical University. His research focuses on water and wastewater treatment technologies, electrochemical treatment processes, membrane systems (including forward and reverse osmosis and membrane bioreactors), and advanced filtration and separation techniques. Dr. Eyvaz has authored more than 30 peer-reviewed publications in leading international journals and holds several patents related to membrane technologies. He actively serves as an editor and reviewer for numerous international journals and contributes to academic and industrial research on sustainable environmental and energy-related systems.
