Prof. Mostafa Ghasemi Baboli

Biography
Prof. Mostafa Ghasemi Baboli is a Distinguished Professor at the Yangtze River Delta Research Institute, University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC), Huzhou, Zhejiang, China. He received his PhD in Chemical Engineering in 2012 from The National University of Malaysia (UKM). Prior to his current appointment, he served as a Research Fellow and Senior Lecturer at UKM, worked at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP), and later joined Sohar University in Oman. His research focuses on sustainable energy and environmental technologies, particularly microbial fuel cells, bioelectrochemical systems, water and wastewater treatment, and advanced membrane processes. Prof. Ghasemi has published more than 100 articles in high-impact ISI journals and is recognized among the top 2% of scientists globally. He has supervised numerous Master’s and PhD students and secured several national and international research grants. He was also selected as a Zhejiang Provincial Talent in China for scientific excellence.
