Biography
Prof. Saeed Zeinali Heris is a Professor at the School of Safety Science and Engineering, Xi’an University of Science and Technology, Xi’an, Shaanxi, China, where he has been serving since 2022. He is also a Professor at the University of Tabriz and was formerly an Associate Professor at Ferdowsi University of Mashhad.
He has been recognized as a Top 1% active scientist in Engineering (2016–2024) based on ISC reports. Prof. Heris has completed 10 research projects for the Iran Natural Gas Company, and his Ph.D. research focused on the heat transfer performance of nanofluids.
He has published 2 books, 4 book chapters, and over 250 research articles in well-recognized international journals and conference proceedings. He serves as an editorial board member of 7 scientific journals and has reviewed manuscripts for more than 200 international journals.
Prof. Heris has supervised 12 Ph.D. students and over 47 M.S. students. He served as Dean of the Faculty of Chemical and Petroleum Engineering at the University of Tabriz for four years and as Vice Dean for one year. His h-index is 56 with over 10,866 citations (Scopus, December 2025).
His research has been published in top-tier journals such as Advances in Colloid and Interface Science (IF 19.3), Nano Energy (IF 17.1), Renewable & Sustainable Energy Reviews (IF 16.3), and other high-impact journals
