Doctor Ramón Hernández-Villoria was born in Caracas, Venezuela, where he graduated as Medical Doctor in 1995 and got his post-graduate degrees as Specialist in Phoniatrics & Audiology, in Public Health and M.Sc. in Linguistics. He has participated as a speaker in numerous conferences on phoniatrics, language and speech therapy and audiology at an international level around the world.
He has been university pre and post grade Professor through twenty-seven years. Since 2016 he has been dedicated to private practice and independent research.
He focusses on audiovestibular medicine, voice acoustic analysis and swallowing.
In 2026 released as co-editor and co-author the book “Voice-Related Biomarkers”.
He is current member of Union of European Phoniatricians (UEP) and of the International Society for Clinical Pathology and Pathophysiology (ISCPP).
