Biography

Prof. Dr. Anil Kumar is a renowned biotechnologist and academic leader with over 40 years of experience in research, teaching, and university administration. He served as Professor and Head of the School of Biotechnology at Devi Ahilya University, Indore, from 1991 to 2018 and later continued as Professor until 2022. He has also held several key leadership roles, including Acting Vice-Chancellor, Dean, and Director within the university.

Dr. Kumar earned his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Lucknow University and conducted advanced research in DNA sequencing and molecular biology at Michigan State University, USA. He has published nearly 200 research papers, guided around 35 Ph.D. scholars, and authored several books in biotechnology and molecular biology.
