Biography
Dr. K. Karthikeyan is an Associate professor at PSG Institute of Medical Sciences & Research, Coimbatore, Tamilnadu, India. He completed his MBBS and Diploma in ENT from Madras Medical College, Chennai. He completed his DNB in 2008 from Madras ENT Research Foundation as All India Gold Medalist and was awarded Dr.S.Kameswaran Gold Medal by the National Board of Examinations , New Delhi.
ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT
• First prize in quiz competition conducted at Tamilnadu state Conference, Ooty, September 2006
• Best participant award in Hands on FESS dissection course conducted in Pune, September, 2006.
• First prize in quiz competition conducted at Sundaram Medical Foundation, Chennai, 2007.
• First Prize in Model OSCE conducted during 3rd Amrita Head & Neck Oncology Post Graduate Teaching Programme at Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences, Kochi on 4th March 2007.
• Winner of Dr.S.Kameswaran Gold Medal for Otolaryngology in Diplomate of National Board Examinations (DNB) for the session December 2007. Received the same at the 15th Convocation held at New Delhi on 28th February 2009.

He has vast experience in Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery, Endoscopic Sinus Surgery, Micro Laryngeal Surgery and Microscopic Ear Surgeries including Cochlear Implantation. He has attended various National and State conferences and presented papers in scientific sessions. He has published papers in reputed Journals. He is a teaching faculty for the Undergraduates & postgraduates in PSG Medical College, Coimbatore guiding students in various research works and is also a part of Cochlear Implantation Surgery team.
