Dr. Mihail Lucian Birsa
Biography
Prof. Mihail Lucian Birsa is a Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iași, Romania. He is a distinguished researcher and an Alexander von Humboldt Foundation Fellow, having conducted research at the Technical University of Braunschweig, Germany, under the mentorship of Prof. Henning Hopf. Throughout his career, he has received multiple return fellowships from the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation in recognition of his scientific contributions.
Prof. Birsa has authored more than 125 peer-reviewed research articles and over 45 books and book chapters published by internationally renowned publishers, including John Wiley & Sons and Thieme. He also serves on the editorial boards of numerous international scientific journals in the fields of chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, and drug discovery.
