Biography

Dr. Yoon Ki Joung is a Principal Research Scientist at the Biomaterials Research Center, Biomedical Research Division, Korea Institute of Science and Technology (KIST), South Korea, and a Professor at the University of Science and Technology (UST). He is a leading researcher in biomaterials and biomedical engineering, with significant contributions to the development of advanced bio-interfacing materials and regenerative technologies.

Dr. Joung's research focuses on designing innovative biomaterials for medical applications, including cardiovascular implants, tissue engineering, and nanomedicine. He has played an active role in advancing biomaterials research through scientific leadership, academic mentorship, and participation in national research and regulatory initiatives.
