After graduating from University of Medicine in Albania with a degree in pharmacy, Eva Troja worked as a Quality Control Analyst for raw materials at pharmaceutical company. She earned a Ph.D. in pharmacy from University of Medicine (Albania) in 2021. Her thesis focused on bioequivalence studies in vitro/in vivo of metformin tablets. With a background in analytical testing, her role in microbiology lab allows her to incorporate the best aspects of work experience in understanding the standards to ensure medicinal products meet the industry requirements. Dr. Troja has over 18 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry with expertise in quality control, microbial & aseptic techniques, laboratory administration and associated cGMP regulatory requirements in a pharmaceutical company. She is recognized for reviewing written procedures and advising team members on quality matters. Dr. Troja is proficient in BET, Bioburden testing, Sterility testing, aseptic techniques, analytical microbiology, and media fill. Her publications in the areas of bioequivalence studies and pharmaceutical microbiology are numerous. Dr. Troja was awarded for her excellent presentations in 2014 and 2015. During her time in Microbiology Lab, Eva completed Microbiology Trainings (Certified Microbiological Laboratory Manager) with the European Compliance Academy (ECA) and currently holds certification.
