Dr. Bamidele Olajiga is an Agricultural Engineer and researcher with a strong passion for sustainable energy systems and innovative transportation technologies. He obtained both his B.Eng. and M.Eng. degrees in Agricultural Engineering from the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA), Nigeria and a Ph.D. at the Centre for Renewable Energy Technology, FUTA.
With extensive professional experience spanning the manufacturing, process, and agricultural machinery sectors across Nigeria, Olajiga has built a distinguished career dedicated to engineering solutions that address emerging societal and environmental challenges.
He has authored and co-authored several scholarly publications in reputable journals and conference proceedings, contributing to advancements in engineering research and practice.
His current research interests include Electric Vehicles (EVs) and last-mile mobility systems, vehicle-mounted wind turbine technology, battery energy storage systems, renewable energy applications and climate-smart agriculture. Through his work, he continues to champion innovative technologies that promote sustainability, energy transition and resilient agricultural development.
