Prof. Ramesh C. Gupta is a distinguished Medicinal and Bioorganic Chemist and former Pro Vice-Chancellor of Nagaland Central University and Vice-Chancellor of Radha Govind University, Jharkhand, India. He earned his Ph.D. in Chemistry from Lucknow University and has held visiting professor and research positions at several renowned international institutions across France, the USA, Japan, South Korea, Israel, Sweden, Belgium, Australia, and Norway.
His research has contributed significantly to natural and synthetic drug development, with interdisciplinary work spanning medicinal chemistry, nutraceuticals, functional foods, and environmental biotechnology. He has also conducted research on the role of sulfur-containing amino acids in healthcare and has contributed to research addressing gender-related issues in science and society.
