Biography

Dr. Raul Duarte Salgueiral Gomes Campilho is a Permanent Associate Professor with Habilitation at ISEP – School of Engineering, Porto, Portugal, where he teaches Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Applied Mechanics. He holds a Ph.D. and Habilitation in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Porto. He has extensive academic and research experience, with 470+ publications in indexed international journals, 200+ book chapters, and numerous books, along with extensive supervision of Ph.D., M.Sc., and B.Sc. research projects. He has also contributed as a keynote speaker, reviewer, scientific committee member, and organizer of international conferences.

Fracture Mechanics, Composite Materials, Adhesive Joints, Structural Adhesive Bonding, Materials Characterization, Strength Prediction, Finite Element Analysis, Mechanical Design, Machine Design, and Advanced Manufacturing.
