Prof. Marguerite Rinaudo is an internationally recognized scientist specializing in polysaccharides, biopolymers, and biomaterials. She is Emeritus Professor at Université Grenoble-Alpes and former Director of the Centre de Recherches sur les Macromolécules Végétales (CNRS). She has authored more than 550 publications, holds 21 patents, and supervised over 50 PhD theses.
Her research has covered a broad range of polysaccharides, including carboxymethylcelluloses, agarose, pectin, alginate, hyaluronic acid, and other polysaccharide-based materials. She has also contributed to research on electrospinning, nanofibers, drug delivery, and the development of polysaccharide-based biomaterials.
