About Conference

Euro Pharmacology 2026

Dear Attendees,

It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the European Summit on Pharmacology, taking place on April 06–07, 2026, in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. This conference brings together scientists, academics, industry professionals, and students from across the fields of pharmacology and drug delivery to exchange insights, share innovations, and explore the latest advances in drug discovery and its clinical applications.

Our program is designed to address several critical themes, including:

1. Emerging research trends and technological innovations shaping the future of pharmacology and drug discovery.
2. Key scientific and clinical challenges that influence the treatment of emerging and evolving diseases.
3. A renewed vision for medicinal research and pharmaceutical management, with focused discussions on:

- New prevention protocols
- Novel approaches to early detection
- Safer and more effective therapeutic modalities
- Strengthening scientific collaboration and promoting knowledge exchange among researchers, clinicians, and industry partners

As Chair of the conference, I warmly invite all of you to participate in shaping a more innovative, resilient, and collaborative future for our field. We look forward to welcoming you to the beautiful city of Amsterdam and to an inspiring and productive gathering.

Finally, with great humility, I must confess that I cannot improve upon the wisdom of Santiago Ramón y Cajal. His Advice for a Young Investigator (1897) remains one of the most illuminating guides ever written for those beginning their scientific journey. Awarded the Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine in 1906, Cajal’s pioneering contributions to neuroanatomy from the neuron doctrine to his exquisite drawings of dendrites and synapses continue to shape our understanding of the brain. His insights also happen to align with the early explorations of Freud, who at the time probed the inner workings of the mind through the lens of neuroanatomy. To doctoral students and postdocs today: Read Cajal with complete abandon and integrity. His words will inspire courage, persistence, and joy in discovery.

Best regards,
Dr. R. Andrew Paskauskas

About Euro Pharmacology 2026
European Summit on Pharmacology, organized by Times Scientific Group, will be held on April 06–07, 2026, in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
This global summit will bring together leading researchers, scientists, pharmacists, healthcare professionals, and industry experts to discuss the latest advancements in Pharmacology, Molecular and Clinical Pharmacology, and Immunopharmacology. It will serve as a dynamic platform for sharing innovative research, exploring new technologies, and fostering international collaborations.

Pharmacology is the branch of biology concerned with the study of drug or medication action, where a drug can be broadly defined as any man-made, natural, or endogenous molecule that exerts a biochemical or physiological effect on a cell, tissue, organ, or organism. It involves the detailed investigation of drug sources, chemical properties, mechanisms of action, therapeutic uses, metabolism, and adverse effects. Pharmacology provides a scientific basis for the rational use of medicines in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of diseases.

The global drug market has demonstrated steady growth due to increasing healthcare demands, rising prevalence of chronic diseases, and continuous advancements in drug discovery and development. The drug market was valued at nearly $5.8 billion during 2011 and approximately $5.7 billion during 2012, with the total value expected to reach nearly $5.4 billion by 2017. This growth reflects the expanding role of pharmacology in modern medicine and its importance in improving patient outcomes and global public health.

Euro Pharmacology 2026 aims to promote scientific dialogue, innovation, and collaboration by showcasing recent research findings, practical methodologies, and translational strategies relevant to pharmaceutical sciences. The program is designed to connect academic research with industrial application, encouraging discussions that support real-world impact.

Why The Netherlands?
Amsterdam is more than just a host city it is a vibrant center where scientific excellence, pharmaceutical innovation, and clinical research converge. Home to internationally recognized universities, leading pharmacology and biomedical research institutes, and a strong pharmaceutical and biotechnology ecosystem, the city offers an ideal environment for advancing global dialogue in pharmacological sciences and drug development. Beyond the conference, participants can experience Amsterdam’s cultural diversity, historic landmarks, and innovation-driven atmosphere making it a truly inspiring setting for high-level scientific engagement.

Participants will gain insight into modern drug discovery and development, including advanced formulations, pharmacological evaluation, regulatory science, personalized medicine, AI-based drug design, and next-generation drug delivery systems. The program features expert talks and practical case studies that connect research with real-world patient care.

Pharmacology(Pharmaceuticals) market analysis in the US,Europe & Asia for 2024-2025:

United States:

The market is valued at around $800 billion, holding roughly 40–45% of global share. Growth is driven by an aging population, chronic disease prevalence, and strong investment in R&D, particularly in biologics and specialty drugs. However, the U.S. market faces challenges such as drug pricing reforms, reimbursement pressure, and competition from generics and biosimilars.

Europe:

The market is worth about $350–400 billion, representing 25–28% of global sales. It is characterized by mature healthcare systems, high use of generics and biosimilars, and strict regulatory and pricing controls that limit price growth but ensure broad access. Innovation continues in niche and specialty areas, though overall growth remains moderate.

Asia:

The market stands at roughly $330–400 billion, accounting for 25–30% of global value, and is the fastest-growing region with annual growth of around 7–9%. Expansion is driven by rising incomes, improving healthcare access, and a strong manufacturing base for generics and APIs, particularly in China and India. However, regulatory diversity and infrastructure gaps remain key challenges.

We warmly welcome you to join us in Amsterdam for a meaningful and enriching experience at Euro Pharmacology 2026, proudly hosted by Times Scientific Group.
